First Announcement

INTRODUCTION

Following the 6^thand 7^thInternational Workshop on Advanced Materials Science and Nanotechnology (IWAMSN2012 and IWAMSN2014) in Ha Long City, the 8^thIWAMSN co-organized by the National Institute of Materials Science (NIMS) and Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) will be held in Dong Hoi City during the period 8^th-12^thNovember 2016. The scientific area includes five scientific topics and consists of five corresponding Sections:

1. Materials for Electronics and Photonics (code: MEP)

2. Nanostructured Materials and Devices (code: NMD)

3. Nanotechnology in Life Science and Environment Technology (code: NLE)

4. New Materials for Energy (code: NME)

5. Two-dimensional Hexagonal Semiconductors (code: THS)

This Workshop is an External Activity of Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP), Pohang, Korea.
