Join the 5-day PLAS@PAR summer school in Vietnam! This school is targeting students at the master level looking to improve their knowledge of plasma physics, from astrophysical and natural plasmas to plasma applications.
Lectures, accommodation (hotel and restaurant) are free of charge.
The main objective is to introduce plasma physics in any state from Laboratory, to the distant universe. The school will select motivated students with a good background in physics or applied mathematics, to introduce them to the diversity of plasma physics. Hence the training covers various aspects of plasmas: astrophysical and natural plasmas, laboratory plasmas generated by lasers, electrical devices, ion beams, and also cold plasmas for industrial applications etc.

Each year since 2013, PLAS@PARorganizes summer schools in France. 25 students from France, Europe and abroad come together to Banyuls or to Roscoff and discover together the diversity of plasmas. This year, PLAS@PARinaugurates an international summer school in Vietnam to reach new students from Asia and Oceania.
The international summer school in Vietnam will take place at The International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE):a unique science and education institution located in the coastal city of Quy Nhon, Vietnam. It welcomes national and international Conferences, specialized professional colloquia, as well as selected Thematic Schools, in particular for doctoral students and has full support and appreciation of the local and national authorities.
The monument is housing a 350-seat auditorium, a conference room and more intimate seminar rooms along with offices for study and research. These spaces showcase spectacular views out over the sea and nearby mountains.
The Centre ICISE hosts between 10 and 12 high level international scientific conferences each year. Covering disciplines in the scope of fundamental or applied science mainly in the field of physics, the program will extend to cover a larger array of scientific disciplines as biology, medecine, social and human sciences. An event related to plasmas thus constitutes an interesting complement which will enrich the already programmed activities.
